Oh no! Another cerebral palsy child has gotten his special trike stolen. His mother, Lynne, says that her son Luke was planning on riding around on his specially adapted trike, but last Saturday it was stolen from their garage. They eventually found the trike, but it was damaged beyond repair.

The back supports were missing, the calipers were gone and the thieves even took off the bell he had been saving up for.

A representative from the manufacturer of the trike said the damage was beyond repair and it would be cheaper to buy a new machine.

His mother said, "We'd only just had the physiotherapist out to check that the trike still fits him correctly so he could do his physio through the holidays. Now what are we going to do?"

Why do people keep stealing the special bikes/trikes that belong to these children? Can't they see they are specially designed for disabled people?
